JUSTICE LEAGUE: Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman Stunt Double Shares New Behind-The-Scenes Photos

Justice League's troubled production meant that behind-the-scenes content from the film has been limited, but Wonder Woman stunt double Caitlin Burles has now shared some cool shots from her time on set!

Both film fans and those in the industry have been crying out for stunt people to receive some sort of acknowledgement at award ceremonies for their incredible work, but it simply has not happened.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has hit the industry hard, of course, as they're unable to work.

To raise awareness and #savethearts, Gal Gadot's stunt double, Caitlin Burles, has issued a challenge, "To all the professionals in the TV, Film and Arts world, join the challenge to post a picture of you in your job." That led to her sharing some cool shots from Justice League where she got to suit up as Amazon badass, Wonder Woman.

Burles has served as Gadot's stunt double for a number of films, including Criminal, Justice League, and Wonder Woman. She also played art thief in the former, and a Queen's Guard in the latter.

Recently, it was rumored that a stunt double filmed the scene in Justice League where Ezra Miller ends up lying on top of the Amazon because Gadot wouldn't do so at Joss Whedon's request. That means it was Burles who shot that, though she hasn't issued any sort of comment.

That's a pretty good stunt double. A lot of times the look almost nothing like them other then matching their build and hair color. Think Spaceballs.

I feel really bad for her if what is said about her and Whedon on the set of justice league is true. Nobody should have to go being forced to do this..

@Mrcool210 - thats literally her job.

@Origame - Her Job isn't to be demeaned and be yelled at by the director that she has to do it or "Her career will be destroyed" Not to mention even if you take that out of it, this isn't a stunt, so it's not her job to do that either.

@Mrcool210 - how's having someone lie on you for a second demeaning? And if you dont do your job, you're going to get yelled at and told you'll be fired.

But seriously, yes its not a stunt. But it is a double job. And you can end up with a stunt where someone tackles wonder woman ending up in this exact position, yet its only a problem when its just that specific moment?

@Origame - If you don't see how a woman being forced to have a strange man lay on her and have his head in her cleavage for a lot longer than a second I might add cause who knows how long they took to shoot it when she doesn't want too and made it clear to said director she was unconformable demeaning than I feel sorry for you.

@Mrcool210 - if you genuinely cared about female stunt doubles, an incident like someone on top of them (which will happen anyway if the character gets tackled) wouldnt be what you're talking about.

Female characters are more likely than male characters to wear form fitting clothing, meaning its harder or even impossible to hide padding to protect them from dangerous stunts. And this has lead to fatalities on set as recently as deadpool 2. But no, lets talk about how someone laid on top of them for a second.
