The #ReleaseTheSnyderCut hashtag gained a lot of traction yesterday, with
Justice League stars Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck and director Zack Snyder himself lending their voices to the movement. Now, Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello has jined in by sharing some previoulsy unseen shots of his character to Instagram.
Manganiello is arguably the actor who lost out most from Warner Bros.' decision not to move forward with a sequel to
Justice League, only getting the opportunity to play Slade Wilson in a brief post-credits scene. He probably would have reprised the role for Ben Affleck's defunct
Batman movie, but we all know what happened there.
Insiders report that "no announcement is imminent" regarding the Snyder Cut, but it's impossible to ignore the recent swell of activity, and, at the very lkeast, the studio must now be fully aware that fans are chomping at the bit to find out what Snyder's original vision for these iconic DC heroes would have looked like before Joss Whedon stepped in to complete the film.
We'll just have to wait and see if WB responds. In the meantime, check out some new Deathstroke images by hitting the view list button.
