Besides that though, Martian Manhunter is an amazing character. I think it would be a lot better though if he had his own solo movie. It has the potential to be so epic. Introducing him the way The New Frontier does could also work.

I think Martian Manhunter would be cool but, more interesting if their first villain(s) are the White Martians. Which leads me to my problem with this if it is true. If you're in a fight, you send your minions in first. Not the bodyguard. If you don't see what I'm saying, its that they need to put in someone not Darkseid as the villain in JL and its potential sequel. He's the biggest bad guy In the DC Universe. Put him first and who do you got let for a possible second and third films?

@NPaMusic - Thats true... but then do you really think Snyder would put another Flash on the Justice League film while there's one on TV? And how do u explain his origin story or even who he is within the short span of the ensemble film? They would have to put Grant Gustin in the movie.

Well I like the sound of Martian Manhunter in the film over Cyborg. My pick for him is Jeffrey Wright. Keith David would be another cool choice and it's to bad Laurence Fishburne is Perry White because he too would have been nice as MM. As for Darkseid Andre Braugher has played him before in the animated movies. So I wonder if WB would use him again or even as MM. Michael K. Williams would also be an interesting pick for J'onn. Plus I wonder if WB would have to people play J'onn. One the actor and the other the voice of MM. It worked for Darth Vader so why not J'onn too. If they go in that direction Kevin Grevioux would be an interesting pick.

Well if Darkseid truly is the bad guy I hope they use the real version of him. I want to see the god that he was back before Crisis on infinite Earths. He was more dangerous back then. So if they go that way you could even have lesser known heroes fighting in the background helping out. Just show a few shots of them then go back to the big seven.

This article is wrong. Cyborg replaced MMH. Shazam replaced Aquaman.

And LMAO at JasonBlue thinking that Shazam might replace Flash on the big screen. Flash is one of DC's top 5 properties. He's far more popular than Shazam is, and Dc wouldn't be including him in almost all of their Justice League related merchandise if Shazam were to replace him.

Smallville was on when Superman Returns came out. They can do the same thing in this scenario as well.

Darkseid should NOT be the first villain the League faces. Maybe one of his minions like Desaad or Kanto, but not him. He should be endgame. The final boss. The ultimate threat.

Anyone who thinks the Rock is playing Martian Manhunter clearly does not understand or give a [frick] about the Martian Manhunter.

The Martian Manhunter is the emotional core of the team. The Rock has as much capacity to show layers of emotion as a block of wood does.

And Shazam replaced Aquaman.

I think Darkseid could work first if you have him comeback in a third movie. As a follow up threat they could use some configuration of The Legion of Doom, assuming that most members would have had a solo outing by then.
