JUSTICE LEAGUE Director Zack Snyder Unveils A First Look At His Take On Darkseid

To celebrate Father's Day, Zack Snyder has shared a look at the "King Daddy" we would have met had the director ultimately gone on to helm the now defunct Justice League sequel, Darkseid. Check it out...

Justice League director Zack Snyder has shared another couple of black and white stills from his "Snyder Cut" of the film on Vero, and one of 'em gives us a first glimpse of his take on the villainous Darkseid, who would have emerged as the main antagonist of Justice League 2 had it ever seen the light of day.

It's a distant shot, and even then not the clearest of images, but hopefully Snyder will unveil a higher-res look at the character at some point.

The other pic features Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and it looks like Vic Stone was going to suffer a "nightmare vision" of himself alongside his parents at one point.

Although Warner Bros. releasing the Snyder Cut of Justice League remains unlikely, we may still get to see Darkseid on the big screen at some point, perhaps even as soon as Ava DuVernay's New Gods movie.

What do you guys make of this first look at Darkseid?

Glad Snyder is gone from these characters, but I don't have a lot of faith in Ava Duvernay/Tom King's New Gods movie. Feels like a flop waiting to happen.

@SnapperCarr -

but I don't have a lot of faith in Ava Duvernay

Although he did a fantastic job with Dawn of the Dead, Ava Duvernay (Oscar and Emmy nominated/winner) is a better director than Snyder.

Synder is great with "cool visuals" he just gets so consumed by them that he either forgets the substance or believes its there when it isn't.

@Humperdink - if he wants to make a film that's all special efx and no substance, there's always FoX-Men. Oh wait...
