JUSTICE LEAGUE: Fans Have Spotted An Easter Egg Referencing BATMAN v SUPERMAN's Doomsday Fight

Joss Whedon may have reshot a significant chunk of Justice League but the filmmaker found a genius way to reference a key Doomsday scene in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Hit the jump to check it out!

We're never getting that "Snyder Cut" of Justice League but some of the filmmaker's work on the movie did remain before most of it was removed by Warner Bros. execs and Joss Whedon. Now, one fans has noticed that Zack Snyder managed to include a very cool Easter Egg referencing the arrival of Doomsday in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. As you can see below, that and the Man of Steel's return play out almost identically but the question is, could there be a deeper meaning behind this?

Bear in mind that it's been widely reported Snyder was planning on making Superman evil for most of Justice League but Whedon changed that so we'd get a version of the hero a little closer to the comics.

If it is accurate that Snyder wanted a villainous Superman, it makes sense that he reflected Doomsday's return in such a way here as there were similarities with the way both of them were brought to life.

Regardless, this is a great throwback to Batman v Superman and a nice touch by Snyder. What do you guys think of the scene? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Interesting, yet quite boring also. Maybe it's because one bad film is referencing the other.

@BlindWedjat - I dont get you so called fans. MoS and BvS were badass movies. Justice League is the one that messed it up...but ONLY cuz Whedon B**** ass F-ed it all up. He was all tryna make it avengers version 2.0.
The more I see clips of the Snyder cut, the more i get upset that Justice League would have been a whole lot better.
Remember, Whedon is the one who wanted reshoots on Superman which gave us that messed mustache. His version makes no sense to the other movies I mentioned. Snyders seemed like it was going ro tie up loose ends.
DCEU doesn't need the kid friendly mess. Let marvel focus on the kids. DC is for adults.
R.I.P. to the Snyder cut...he hardly knew thee.

Friend, Whedon was brought on last minute. If you're gonna blame anybody, blame the WB Execs.
