Justice League is coming to San Diego Comic-Con this Saturday, and it may be the first time that fans get a glimpse of the film's villain, Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds). With a new trailer rumored to be on the horizon after Saturday's panel, it may not be long until we see the villain in all his glory, but until then, a new toy image has surfaced online that gives us a pretty good look at him. This appears to be a different toy than the last one we saw, with some additional detail put into this version's armor and coloring.

Are you looking forward to seeing Steppenwolf take on the Justice League? Let us know in the comments! Justice League releases on November 17, 2017

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

I still don't know why they picked this villain. It'd be like if the Avengers assembled to stop... I don't know, Attuma or some shit.

Hopefully Josh will make sure the CGI looks better in JL. I was shocked Snyder approved some of the CGI in BvS.

@BillyM67 - Agreed, and from what we saw in the Justice League trailer, it's gonna be exactly the same. Maybe even worse, at least in terms of scale. I don't think any of that is gonna be reworked by Whedon. I don't think he can, honestly.

I really don't think it was that bad. Only thing that looked objectively awful to me was Doomsday.

@MattBellissimo - I don't think doomsday looked awful, I think he just kinda looked normal. pretty par for the course for cgi, and never once did it bother me. hell, I even think one shot looks terrific. can't find it, but it's when there's lightning all over the place and the flashing lights make the shot look like claymation.

idk, looks as good as the hulk to me. definitely not trying to start a marvel v dc conversation, just that's a big cgi monster that's easy to compare.

the rest of the movie had some pretty good effects, the cg versions of the trinity fighting looked fabulous.

Here's what I think I want to see as a way of rebooting this bad universe: The Justice League thinks they've won, but they miss something. There is a sort of bomb that destroys most of humanity. The Flash decides he's going to go far enough backward in time to change things. Say, back to Clark's childhood. I really want this all fixed.
