It's fair to say we'd all like to see what Zack Snyder originally had planned for Justice League but there's a very good chance that it's never going to happen. That's down to unfinished CGI and the fact Warner Bros. wanted an entirely different role for Superman in order to bring some optimism to the DC Films Universe but it appears as if the home release of the DC Comics movie WILL feature an extended cut.
Unfortunately, that will be Joss Whedon's extended cut of Justice League presumably made up of scenes he shot and decided not to use and some of Snyder's work which was cut for time (Warner Bros. wanted the running time to be less than two hours). There was so much left on the cutting room floor that this will be interesting whatever happens but it won't fundamentally change the movie!
The rumour comes from Mario F. Robles, a "freelance writer and scooper for places like @IGN & @TheSplashReport." For now, it's obviously best to take this with a pinch of salt but there's no denying this news is intriguing. We'll hopefully hear something official soon but stay tuned to CBM for updates.
