After working with director Matthew Vaughn on both Stardust, Kick-Ass and more recently X-Men: First Class. Despite The Daily Mail claiming that Jane Goldman is currently working on the script to Kick-Ass 2, the writer recently took to her Twitter account in order to set a few things straight.

"Saw a few erroneous reports today that I’m currently writing Kick Ass 2 script – sorry if anyone’s disappointed, but not true. Currently writing for 2 other projects, then on to lovely Matthew V’s next thing (right now, looks unlikely to be KA2) when X-Men post-prod’ ends."


Last year, Mark Millar dropped several hints via his Twitter account that Matthew Vaughn would be directing the movie adaptation of his latest comic book creation, Superior. While the comic book writer also claimed that an announcement for that project would come this month...with less than a week left, will we get the reveal of that being what Vaughn and Goldman are working on before Kick-Ass 2?
