Simon Pegg Would Love To Play Marvel's Captain Britain

Simon Pegg is no stranger to comic books and science fiction, known for his roles in Star Trek and Hot Fuzz. He also played a small role in The Force Awakens. Now he has his eyes set on Marvel Studios.

Simon Pegg is sure of which superhero he would like to play in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Britain.

In an interview with JoBlo, he spoke more about it. "I mean, Captain Britain was this Marvel superhero that I loved growing up, 'cause he was the British member of that community," Pegg said. "I even have a Captain Britain mask when I was a kid, but I fear I would probably be slightly too old now, but if they do have... If a Captain Britain movie comes about, they're gonna need a British cast, so..."

All Pegg needs is a call from Kevin Feige. "I'll be waiting," he said.

He also opened up about Black Panther and his demanding schedule.

"I take every day as it comes. I'm doing a few smaller movies now and doing some acting," Pegg said. "Some dramatic stuff. I watched Black Panther the other night and I saw such a great movie. I was quite jelly of my friend Martin Freeman for kicking it with that crowd. Who knows? We'll see."

Do you think Simon Pegg could do a good job with Captain Britain?

Mission: Impossible - Fallout hits theaters on July 27, 2018.

Simon Pegg might not be perfect for Capt. Britain but maybe Union Jack could work for him but will have to work his ass off to get in shape.

Simon Pegg ruins EVERYTHING he touches. He should have been shot into the sun after what he did with Star Trek.

Tough titties Pegg - you're too close to Edgar and the "situation"! And by situation I mean Feige's wife.
