I hope Marvel stops using the Infinity Stones as an excuse for coincidence. It doesn't happen all the time but it did happen a few times in GOTG.

FANTASTIC! I really do love these videos. And this one I am sure to shoot out to all the friends who seen all these movies but are too stubborn to read the Infinity Gauntlet series.

great video!

I believe we get to see Time-gem in AOU. I mean, it really appears to go that way... based on that scene where Stark stands and is rounded by "dead" Avengers? Let's see eee eee eee ;)

@Kjo0212 When I first saw the movie my feelings were "liked it but didn't love it" and after seeing it a second time I have to say I love it now. To answer your question, the Infinity Stones for me are artifacts only people like Thanos and Ronan and The Collector should have. In the beginning of GOTG, Star-Lord finds the Infinity Stone which brings the Guardians together. I would've liked the Infinity Stone to be less of a dues ex machina and more of an objective.

What if Turk is an agent of Image sent to undermine both DC and Marvel? What if an evil takeover is imminent!?

Malekith created the Aether as said in Thor 2 but in GOTG, The Collector said they came before the big bang when nothing else existed. So does that contradict the Aether's origin?

Thanos should be the villain in thor 3 , GOTG, and avengers 3 to lead to a team up movie

@Nya

Given how Thor 2 was nothing but useless filler and Malekith made the [frick]ing Lizard look good by comparison, I doubt they give much of a shit about a minor contradiction.

Are you not paying attention to the MCU? The infinity Stones and Thanos are what everything is building up to and tying the MCU together. Why would you want them to stop?

I just don't get how they will fit everything else into the Phase 3 as we still need to see 3 more infinity stones and introduce some key characters who can put up a real fight with Thanos. I wish we could've seen Thanos beat up on Ronan a little in GOTG. I guess we will see what happens in AOU as far where the MCU is heading for phase 3.

@slickrickdesigns
I don't want them to stop I just don't want EVERY upcoming Marvel movie to have the Infinity Stones because then the films will be seen more as a Thanos build-up and less like good stand-alone movies.
kinghulk
kinghulk - 8/11/2014, 8:27 AM
therealremy- i dont recall it being stated he created it. and malekeith was going to retrieve the aether because the convergence was about to begin.

@McNyagano

It could be that Odin did not know that it was created before. May not be a known history to the Asgardians as it is to the Collector.
MercwithMouth
MercwithMouth - 8/11/2014, 8:31 AM
@CookieKid247

It IS all one big build-up. Thanos is the end game. That's where the connectivity will come from.
