Bear with me for a moment here, just let me get this out of the way first, Pepsi is so much better than Coke. I mean Pepsi rules! Anyone who likes Coke is a dumbass! Yeah sure, Coke came first and pretty much invented cola, but Pepsi came along and took Coke's idea and made it so much better! Coke sucks! It's all bitter and gross, but Pepsi is oh so sweet. Plus Pepsi gave us such awesome stuff like Mountain Dew. What did Coke do? Mello freakin' Yello?! Nasty! They totally copied Pepsi! Plus, Coke is so lame and boring. They invented Cherry Coke, but Pepsi took it to the next level...WILD Cherry Pepsi! I mean c'mon, who would like Coke except for retards?! Pepsi: The Choice of a New Generation.
Ok, that's crazy, right? Could you actually imagine someone getting that upset over soda? But, that's the exact same type of lame arguments that take place here and on countless other sites every day. "Marvel blah blah blah." "Yeah, well DC blah blah blah." "You Disney princess blah blah blah!" "Suck it Nolanite blah blah blah!" It's getting way out of hand.
What is so wrong with people liking films that you may not like? In reality, not a damn thing. But, some insecure fanboys pledge allegiance to one studio or another, blindly I might add, and that destroys forums for open communication between people with opposing views. For example, I absolutely hated MoS. Hated, hated, hated it. But since we're overrun by such crazed lunatics, if I say I didn't enjoy it, then I have a half dozen people launching a verbal barrage against me for being an MCU Princess. WTF?!
For the record, there are both good and bad films that were put out by DC/WB and Marvel. As well as Fox...except Sony, all their films suck (j/k...kinda). But I can't stress enough my concern over this matter. As each side gets further entrenched, it can only serve as a detriment to the continued success of the entire Comic Book Movie genre. These petty people are acting as a schism in what could and should be an amazing time for fans of comics and movies alike. Instead we have a few assholes who are not content unless they're farting in everyone else's soup bowl. It must stop. It must stop now before they do irreparable harm to the future of this beloved industry. I call upon my faithful ComicBookMovie.com brethren to help lead the charge in the fight against one-sided studio douchebaggery! So, when certain members, whom shall remain nameless, begin their trolling attention whoring ways, I urge you: do not take the bait. If they are shunned long enough, they will dissipate and disperse, I assure you. Do not give in to their lopsided views and obvious bias. Take back this site! Do what is right! Stand up and fight! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
