OK, it may not be as dire as the headline or the article images indicate, but let's face it; trolls are a problem. It's not just a CBM issue, it seems to be a World Wide Web issue. Negativity seems to be the currency of the digital land as of late. Yes, we have the "Block" button. Yes, you can report comments that are offensive, of which we review every single one and either 1) Delete the comment, 2) Delete the report if it was false (i.e. the comment was a valid opinion, which may result in the false-submitter having their account disabled), or 3) Disable the user account who posted the comment. Yes, there are several site admin, including myself, who disable user acounts on a daily basis for bad behaviour. Unfortunately all of that isn't enough.
To help combat all of this, I've set up two new Facebook pages; "
DC Only News" and "
Marvel Only News". These pages will focus on headlines and content that reside within the realm of their respective universes. Anyone trolling on the pages will automatically have their accounts banned from the page and their comments deleted. Both pages went live earlier today and we hope to keep them both chugging along with great content. If you're a fan of either, make sure and check out the pages and make sure you hit the "Like" and "Follow" buttons!
Why do this? It's really to give users a peaceful place where they can enjoy their content in a troll-free zone. It's also easy to miss things on CBM when news starts flooding in from one studio or property. This should help everyone keep up with the news that *they* want to view.
CBM's official Facebook page will continue to cover anything and everything that makes its way onto the site. We just passed 900,000 facebook followers and we plan on it continuing to grow to 1 Million and beyond.
While I'm at it, I may as well treat this as a "State of the Site" post. We launched our new Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) last week for all articles and have several other site-upgrades in the works (real-time content and comment alerts, content subscriptions, etc.), so stay tuned!
For those that are into Anime and Manga, make sure and check out our recently re-launched
AnimeMojo.com! We also have a sister-site dedicated to video games in
GameFragger.com. Who knows, you may even find a familiar face or two on our sister sites!

PLEASE NOTE: NOTHING IS CHANGING ON THE SITE!
Some users seem to be missing the part where this is directed at Facebook only and for users who want to focus on one universe or the other. Again, as far as
www.ComicBookMovie.com goes, nothing is changing on the site itself, or in the comments area for articles.
