Earlier this week, the first reactions for Ang Lee's mysterious action/thriller Gemini Man arrived and the early word was exceedingly positive, with critics hailing it as a technical marvel containing some of the wildest action sequences put on screen this year.

The über-ambitious sci-fi action thriller stars 2x Academy Award-nominee Will Smith as a pair of identical ultra-elite assassins - Henry Brogan & Junior - who will find themselves pitted against one another by a former friend-turned-enemy that's decided to eliminate Brogan for reasons yet-to-be-determined.

In addition to Smith, Academy Award-nominee Clive Owen (Inside Man), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Birds of Prey) and Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) will also feature in major roles.

Some of the ation and scenes look very sharp and clean. Some the CGI was very noticeable.

Still looking forward to see this in HFR 3D.

Imagine this amazing immersive action applied to a great script and more intriguing story. Might be worth seeing for the technical aspects.

Get Ang Lee on a Bond film STAT!

Or imagine this in a DREDD film.

@BlackBeltJones - Dredd is criminally underrated, and it's a damn shame it wasn't promoted enough leading to low box office. The film is also gorgeous. And the whole cast is fantastic.
