Universal's highly anticipated Jurassic World sequel finally entered principal photography earlier this week, but before they could really get started, director J.A. Bayona had one more casting announcement to make.
The acclaimed director took to Twitter earlier this afternoon announce that 3x Golden Globe-nominee Geraldine Chaplin, who he previously worked with on A Monster Calls, had also joined the impressive cast of his upcoming dinosaur sequel.
She's the latest addition to the blockbuster franchise, which has recently enlisted the services of Toby Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger), Rafe Spall (Life of Pi), Justice Smith (The Get Down), Daniella Pineda (The Originals), Ted Levine (Silence of the Lambs), and James Cromwell (Spider-Man 3), who will all join returning stars Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2), Bryce Dallas Howard (Black Mirror), and B.D. Wong (Gotham).
