Universal Studios Hollywood has announced plans to revamp
Jurassic Park - The Ride with elements based on the new
Jurassic World film franchise. The countdown to extinction for the original ride, which will close on September 3, 2018, began today as the company has plans to debut the "all-new technologically-advanced epic adventure" in 2019.
The new
Jurassic World Ride will still draw from the favorite elements of the original ride, but will feature
"never-before-seen dinosaurs, enhanced storytelling, lush scenic design, a new color scheme and uncompromised state-of the art technology." Universal released a teaser for the announcement, but it's unclear exactly what elements from the new franchise will be featured in the updated ride. For what it's worth,
