Following the recent batch of "Run, Pray, Hide" promos, Paramount Pictures has released the following "Take Me Home" TV spot for Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant.

The teaser begins with some stunning panoramic shots of the mysterious and deadly planet the crew will find themselves on, before we cut to the now familiar sight of Katherine Waterston's Daniels and Danny McBride's Tenseness being stalked by the iconic creatures. Plus, we get a little hint of the fate that befell Noomi Rapace's Prometheus character, Dr. Elizabeth Shaw.

Do you think these promos have revealed a little too much about the plot? Check out the latest one below,  and be sure to share your thoughts in the comments section.

“Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”

Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demien Bichir and Danny McBride, and is set to hit theaters on August 4, 2017.

@ODanil - man i think that Shaw is the xenomorph. She was turned by a face hugger on the trip there or as soon as she got there.

if this movie makes sense of all the nonsensical aspects of Prometheus, then I will be very pleased indeed!

I think Shaw may now be the "queen" that laid the eggs. I think she may have been turned while on the trip and the big alien was the engineer.

@RavenMoon -

I agree Re: Neomorph possibly being Shaw, but the engineer was left behind in Prometheus.

How gross will it be to see her laying those eggs?

Ewwwwwwwww!!! Sick

@CaptainAmerica - My ranking was only for the more recent DC animated movies. Red hood and Mask of the Phantasm are in their own category of greatness.

@knocturnalzen10 - I'm not a Superman fan (heresy i know), add that to him being kind of a dick in the new animated verse, and brings it down for me.

@TheBeard - Yeah, I seriously hate this version of Superman (although I do actually like Superman as a character), but that scene for me was freaking hilarious. Not really a fan of Try Hard GL or Captain Marvel (not sure why), but I like the rest.

@Derdpool - ROTFLMAO! Oh you have no clue! My two youngest got into that Clown craze last year. Chasing adults around the hood in SlipKnot clown outfits. Last night I almost choked to death. The kids were watching Blade for the first time. I stepped away to grab my adult beverage and the young ones come running in the kitchen...."Dad..dad...I want a bloodbath!" I'm all WTF?!? "Not real blood dad, that nasty(her Clevland voice), but all red blood something spraying from the sprinkler! We can play better music than Blade! I want to post on our Youtube channel!" When I wan 9...I was in The Evil Dead and 70's-80's films in general and all other genres, but never did I want to take a Bloodbath. That's my Goblin. Her favorite Sci-Fi film is Alien(s) and Edge of Tomorrow.

@Derdpool - They love the films and the show. Big fans of the Red Dragon film too. Huge Mads Mikkelsen fans. They liked Valhalla Rising and Dr. Strange as well. I'm trying to get caught up on American Horror Story so we can watch it together. So many films and shows we want to see. I cannot keep up. As far as Sci-Fi goes Alien:Convent, Blade Runner 2049, and a few other are on our list. This weekend we are going to see Life and Ghost in the Shell.
