Like us, we know you all love sci-fi franchises like Star Wars and Star Trek, and while those tend to dominate headlines, it's always fun to have an original movie from this genre to get excited about.

65, starring Adam Driver (Star Wars), definitely fits that description, and the fact it's coming our way from the writers of A Quiet Place and producer Sam Raimi (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Evil Dead) is an added bonus. All signs point to this being one of 2023's most must-see releases, and a new look has been revealed by USA Today (via SFFGazette.com).

In that, we can see Driver's character exploring his surroundings, and the actor - who many of you will no doubt know best for playing Kylo Ren - looks every bit the sci-fi action hero here, that's for sure. Rumours continue to swirl that he could be up for a role in Fantastic Four, with Reed Richards and Doctor Doom both said to be likely candidates.

After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills (Driver) quickly discovers he’s actually stranded on Earth...65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive.

From the writers of A Quiet Place and producer Sam Raimi comes 65, a sci-fi thriller starring Adam Driver, Ariana Greenblatt, and Chloe Coleman. Written and directed by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods and produced by Sam Raimi, Deborah Liebling and Zainab Azizi. the movie is produced by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.

65 is currently set to be released in theaters on March 10.

@tmp3 - between the Marriage Story's and the White Noises, I like seeing him in stuff like this. His favorite role of mine is still BlackKklansman though

@bkmeijer1 - he’s done a lot of great stuff, just weird seeing this sandwiched in his filmography between stuff by baumbach, ridley scott, michael mann and francis ford coppella. fantastic actor though, just think this film doesn’t look great. he’s gonna kill it in ferrari though, no doubt

@tmp3 - he does have an odd filmography, but I quite enjoy it.

In between all those more serious movies, I like seeing him pop up in stuff like BlackKklansman, Logan Lucky and The Dead Don't Die.

This is an odd one though. It fits with neither side of his filmography really.

I really look forward to this movie. Not just because of Driver fighting dino's, but also because I'm interested to see if it's about time travel or maybe Driver being an alien

This may be the closest I ever get to a TUROK movie, so I'm all in.
