The Running Time For SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY Has Been Revealed

Solo underwent extensive reshoots when Ron Howard took over as the movie's director but it doesn't appear as if the filmmaker was forced to drop too many scenes to save money based on this running time.

As you've no doubt heard, Solo: A Star Wars Story will hold its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, an unexpected location but one which will no doubt help generate a lot of positive buzz assuming the movie is actually good (after all, pretty much every snooty film critic you can imagine will be in town). Now, the event's website has revealed the highly anticipated spinoff's running time.

Apparently, we'll be sitting in theaters for a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes. That lines up with the other Star Wars movies which have been released over the past few years; The Force Awakens was also 2 hours and 15 minutes, while Rogue One came in two minutes shorter than that and The Last Jedi was a whopping 2 hours and 32 minutes. So, that should be plenty of time to tell Han's origin story!

Are you looking forward to checking out Solo: A Star Wars Story when it's released next month? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on this news in the comments section down below.
