I love how all you guys are whinging about how old he is. Dude is 58 and is absolutely going to kill it as the Doctor. HE IS YOUNGER THAN SAMUEL L JACKSON FOR GOD'S SAKE. Yet, nobody watches Winter Soldier footage and says 'Whooooa, don't break a hip, Fury.'

This definitely fits Capaldi and it looks really good. He is definitely giving off a Doctor Strange vibe. I'm really going to miss Matt, but I welcome the change that is Peter Capaldi.

I, for one, am glad that we're getting an older doc. Eccleston was alright, Tennant was great, but Matt Smith completely put me off the series. I can't exactly put my finger on why, but he just lacked something (or a lot of things). I think Capaldi will definitely bring a sense of experience and gravitas to the character, and I'm looking forward to getting back into it.

it looks way too close to 11's outfit. all they did was tweak some stuff. and 10th doctor was pretty much just 9.2. he was a lot like nine but a bit more quirky, still love him though.

I was unaware that there were people out there expressing dislike about Capaldi as The Doctor until now. This makes me sad. Go watch the series The Thick of It. I'm sure a glimpse of his extreme talent should change your mind.

Honestly, an old doctor is such a breath of fresh air. Throughout the series' run, I've found myself liking the older doctors...specifically William Hartnell (1st Doctor). And since the 8th-9th doctors, they've been getting progressively young.

I'm also happy because this will sort out the true fans of the show from the fangirls who only liked it because the doctor was attractive.

Not bad. Never understood the collar buttoned with no tie look. What's with the Doctor Strange hands? Did the Doctor join a gang? At least he's not pointing a sonic at the camera like in every other publicity shot from the last decade.
