First GODZILLA VS. KONG Set Photos Feature Alexander Skarsgard, Eiza Gonzalez, And A Nasty Brawl

The first set photos for Godzilla vs. Kong have arrived and these feature Alexander Skarsgard and Eiza Gonzalez wearing some very futuristic looking jumpsuits as the former gets into a fight of his own...

We recently learned that Godzilla vs. Kong has started production and while little is known about the movie as of right now, things should start becoming clearer next year when Godzilla: King of the Monsters is released (that's a title the legendary beast will seemingly have to defend in 2020).

Now, the first photos from the set of the movie have found their way online and they were shot down in Honolulu, Hawaii. Featuring Alexander Skarsgard and Eiza Gonzalez wearing some pretty nifty looking jumpsuits, the former can be seen getting into a scrap with a fellow soldier (?) and he really doesn't look happy. Perhaps he's not playing a heroic character as most of us assumed?

Either way, no matter how many set photos pop up over the coming months, we won't get to see the titular monsters until Warner Bros. is ready to unveil them as they're (obviously) brought to life with special effects and won't be reporting for duty on set!

Are you guys excited for Godzilla vs. Kong? Let us know your thoughts in the usual place.

Kinda weird seeing set photos to a sequel of a movie that isn't even out yet

@Cap1 - To be fair that happens with the mcu a lot. And it is a sequel to kong.

@HelaCipher - Happens in the MCU now because they've had 10 years to get to this point, so far we've had a good Godzilla movie and an average Kong movie. Filming the sequel to the sequel that isn't out yet is wishful thinking, not complaining about a Kong vs Godzilla movie tho

As much as I loved You're Next and The Guest, I dont really trust Wingard. Blair Witch and Death Note were BAD. After giving up on DN, I'm surprised WB gave him another shot.

But we'll see.

I’m still curious to see who/what the real threat will be that makes them team up

The human characters always suck. Here for the monsters.

I wonder if this will be the final film of the franchise or if it will somehow continue.... working years from Now, it will be a buddy cop comedy film as Kong and Godzilla go around eliminating threats around the world haha
