Sharlto Copley in Elysium

In the year 2159 two classes of people exist: the very wealthy who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Rhodes (Jodie Foster), a hard line government official will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. That doesn't stop the people of Earth from trying to get in, by any means they can. When unlucky Max (Matt Damon) is backed into a corner, he agrees to take on a daunting mission that if successful will not only save his life, but could bring equality to these polarized worlds.

Sharlto looks [frick]ing crazy. If he's good in this, it only solidifies my choice for him as Joker.

@ForeverPowerful I've never considered Sharlto portraying the Joker. Quite an interesting choice, i would like to see that. Maybe Adrien Bordy?

The film itself, i'm not sure yet, first trailer didn't grab me. However i enjoyed 'District 9' so i'm not ruling it out.

You know what I love about Blomkamp's films? Well, the two he has made. His version of the future isn't this clean pristine place. I like the grittiness and realistic quality he brings to his science fiction films that harken back to the late seventies and early 80's. That's what made Star Wars, The Terminator, Aliens, Blade Runner such great films is that they looked like real places. Today everything just turns into a CGI crapfest because it's easier and directors think it's more convincing to the audience.

Dayum @sephiroth... You ain't sheeeetin. It's a mannnnn... Babay.

This movie does look good. I'm actually excited to see all the new original scifi movies coming out. It's about time they stopped recycling old movies and gave us some original stuff. Looking at you Oblivion, After Earth, Interstellar... Tho I can't totally endorse anything by shamalamalan anymore. The only thing good he made was Unbreakable and 6th sense...

@Josh and ElDarkside: It's like someone walked up behind her and sucked out all her femininity. I don't wanna hear it's cause she's old. I have seen tons of MILF's that turn my head.

Linda Carter is 60 years old, and I would still put that Wonder Woman outfit on them old bones!!

Sharlto Copley great, Matt Damon great, District 9 great, Neil Blomkamp great really looking forward to this film. Intelligent Sci Fi is easily one of my favourite genres... Blomkamp and Damon doing a Dredd film could be fu.cking fantastic dont get me wrong the Urban lead Dredd deserves a trilogy but Blomkamp and Damon would be a wonderful prospect.

Sharlto is so funny, and a good actor; I can't wait to seem him be a Badass in this awesome looking movie. Also yeah I have had so many fantasy's about Carla Gugino, she is so hot and like the ultimate fanboy milf.
