About working on Robocop, Wang posted this facebook message: "We did over 150 designs for this film! Primarily myself and Sean Yoo. Mike Jensen also helped early on. Vitaly Bulgarov and Fausto de Martini gave it the final look in the film! Here is a small sample of some early stuff. At the time there were 4 different Robos from very crude to a more sleek design at the end."

The concept designs range from a close homage to the original 80's version to some sort of a strange alien robot, devoid of any human features. So, what do you think of these designs?

In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex's life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.

RoboCop will be directed by Jose Padilha and star Joel Kinnaman (The Killing) in the lead role of Alex Murphy/Robocop. The film also stars: Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Kenneth Williams, Jennifer Ehle, Jay Baruchel and Abbie Cornish. The remake will be in theaters February 12th, 2014

Most of those make me happy with the suit we got, which is the least likeable part of the film.

I like the look of the first silver one. It looks like something from the Terminator plus alien too. Also being completely honest to any one that has watched the new Robocop film how is it? I understand it won't be as dark or as violent as the original. But on its own not being a Robocop movie. Is it worth paying ten dollars for a matinee showing or better to wait for the DVD? I can't understand why movies cost so much to see. I remember when I could go to see a movie for four dollars. Yes that was matinee but still six more dollars now I have to pay. In just the last three years prices have been climbing. Plus if the movie has a 3D showing they don't even show it without 3D anymore so another three dollars you have to pay. Sorry about my rant. I just want to know if it's worth seeing or not. Because the trailer looks good

Also I am even getting some Metal Gear Solid vibes from some of the suits. I swear some look like the outfit Raiden has worn in the past.

@SidTheAstroSloth

Sorry deleting my post. I just reread it and there was some errors in it. I wish there was an edit button. That would be helpful.

I feel like an idiot I did it again. It should read Sorry about deleting my post not Sorry deleting my post. This is why I need to stop using a tablet.

I too think a Metal Gear Solid movie would be great. I even thought in the past Sony was making one.

Thanks for the reply. That sounds at least better then many remakes of late. I will have to check if any theater near me is playing it for a somewhat of a cheap price.

Tron and Iron man called, they want their suits back. Some of these are kinda cool actually. I like the suits we got though, especially the classic one.

So, they had dozens of better Black Suit designes and went with the worst one? Logic wasn't strong with them that day.

Great frickin movie. Perfectly done. They could have not tortured him so much during the movie tho, lol. Politics is really was f*ck'd up thing.

I was mad they put the original body on him at the end of the movie. They should of had another Black body to put on him. I hope for the sequel, they make a new body to get him out of the silver body.
