ROBOCOP Scene Details Reveal Potential Spoilers And New Set Photos Revealed

Thanks to a reader who has sent us scene details and photos from last week's shoot on Calder Road in Mississauga, we may have some Potential Spoilers on a scene that took place. The bystander describes the scene as an "anniversary party" of sorts, and tells us that the crew was very welcoming and even let people watch the live-recording camera feeds. You can always email your own set photos and reports by clicking HERE

"Only actors at this set would be Joel Kinnaman and Abbie Cornish since the house is being used as Murphy's house I believe. Highly Likely that they were there as it was their anniversary party that they were filming. A few days ago they actually had the whole street closed down at night for some explosion scenes, the next day the whole house had burn residue on it and a Big dent in the garage, wish I got a picture. No sight of robocop outfit at all."

So, it seems like Alex (Joel Kinnaman) and Ellen (Abbie Cornish) would be celebrating their anniversary, and perhaps something terrible could go wrong during it which would result in explosions and burns. Below you can see a few photos of Murphy's house as well as 2028's car designs.

I've also come across some amazing photos of the Hamilton, Ontario set where Robocop will start to film tomorrow. Samuel L. Jackson and Gary Oldman are rumored to appear, so stay tuned to ComicBookMovie for any news on that. These set photos reveal "FREE DETROIT" graffiti, along with a sign for a Chicken and Waffles restaurant, however I'm told there are no waffles in sight.

Robocop is set to be released on August 9th, 2013.

I wonder how much of the budget is being devoted to all these cool cars alone.

I hope every vehicle in the film isn't super-futuristic though... it's only 14 years ahead of now. Today, people still drive boxy beat-up Buicks and towncars over 30 years old... point being - not every car you see on the road today was made in 2012. I don't see why future Detroit would be any different... It would take me out of the film -- because in a movie about a cyborg police officer, I want everything to be hyper-realistic ;)

I DON'T UNDERSTAND.."WE'LL LET'S LET HIM KEEP HIS RIGHT HAND." OLDSCHOOL ONE YOU STRIPPED EVERYTHING AWAY FROM THE GUY, THE MORE HUMAN THINGS YOU PUT ON HIM THE MORE VULNERABLE HE BECOMES, WELLER'S WAS SOLID.PLUS WELLER'S LOOKED LIKE A MACHINE, THIS JUST LOOKS LIKE BODY ARMOR.

Okay technology has advanced guys I'm sure in 2028 robots won't be chunky like in the 80s. This one looks like advanced tech from the future. Like I said its the future why the hell would you compare it too something made in the 80s?

ORIGINAL TOTAL RECALL DID-NOT-SUCK. IT HAD ALIENS AND MUTANTS AND MARS AND SHIPS AND SAVING A PLANET AND IT LEFT YOU WITH THE QUESTION WAS IT ALL REAL OR NOT?---NEW TOTAL RECALL WAS OK BUT DON'T TELL ME ROBOTS AND FLYING CARS AND A FUNNEL TUNNLE THROUGH THE EARTH TRUMPS THE ORIGINAL FILM. WOW...C'MON NOW.

@Quanzen--I love that pic on the right. I have no real problem with the design of the suit except the color. If they're going to call the movie Robocop then he should at leat resemble Robocop a little bit and the coloring would be the perfect way to lookk like Robocop but keep the more futuristic style. That pic on the right would be the perfect design for me.

Lol, it's adorable when people make fools of themselves on the internet and then act like petulant little girls.

Why don't you just admit that your comment was just straight up idiotic?

Here, have a cookie it'll make you feel better.

cant be worse the all of the robocop stuff after the first one. second one wasnt bad but i think that last fight scene is just awful. stop motion crap. i think they couldve done it better by just using puppetry and hydrolics. 3rd one was garbage as was that tv stuff
