@Armageddon26 -

Its good. It's a 6 issue story if I remember correctly. It finished a while a go so you can pick up the trade.

@knocturnalzen10 -
It's kinda like a mash up of Lord of the Rings and What Dreams May Come. Or if you remember that Syfy movie RiverWorld. Something like that. Out of 10 I would give it like a 7-7 1/2. It was a short series but there is still a lot more stories to tell in that world. A lot of unanswered questions.

I'm not that well versed with the Millarverse but this sounds interesting... but being reborn into Sandra Bullock isnt really the prime of her life.

So is it Chris Mckay or Adam Mckay? You know, since they're kinda not the same people at all.

@crawley - I was thinking that too. Adam McKay seems like the more logical choice for me on this project. And also ofcourse, because Chris should be working on Nightwing

@crawley - It's Chris.. brain fart.

Does she get reincarnated into a newborn baby that we see growing up in this new world or is she immediately an adult?

@WackyBantha -

She was an old woman when she dies. In the new world she's in her prime body. She's immediately there like that. Its different there for other people. You could be a child again or still be old.

"She's once again in the prime of her life..."

What makes this even sweeter is how Sandra Bullock is 54 lookin like she 34. Aging like fine wine.

Im still waiting for that Nemesis adaption.

@MrCamw1 - I feel like a Nemesis film only works if you lean into how ABSURD it is. Tarantino absurdity and/or Takashi Miike levels

@MrCamw1 - You and me both. I've tweeted at Joe Carnahan and Mark Millar about it several times. I actually got replies a couple of times. Joe said he really wanted to make it, as the script was more relevant now than ever. Millar agreed, but said that it was one of his few properties still over at Fox, so they currently own the IP, and presumably, Carnahan's script too. But man I [frick]ing love that book, and I cannot wait to see it's cinematic potential released on the world.

@IronDean2099 - so then it hoes to Disney? I cant see them making this film if thats the case...or do yhe rights dissolve back to the creators?
IronDean2099
IronDean2099 - 1/23/2019, 4:13 PM
@MrCamw1 - I have no idea. I know with the Marvel stuff, when a studio changed hands, Marvel had first refusal. I hope Millar had some similar effect in place, because you're right. Unless it's some smaller subsidary studio or something like that. I'd settle for another volume of the book right now.

I’m not a big fan of Millar & his original works. In the hands of a Vaughn type director, they can be turned into great films

Having said that, I loved Reborn. I loved Capullo’s art in it

I hope it’s great

To the people asking if this comic is any good, and the few saying that it was, respectfully, I disagree.

When I learned about this, Millar and Capullo, I was beyond hyped. One of the biggest disappointments I've had with comics these past few years. I wasn't expecting it to be this bad. Cliché story done a dozen times before, uninteresting characters, art was OK but coloring was awful, way too short for you to feel anything about anyone or feel any kind of immersion… Only good thing is that the main character is likable (despite being bland) and the bad guy has a cool design. Tellos by Mike Wieringo was way better and that was 20 years ago. The twist at the end is one of the best twists I have ever read in comics.
