O.K What the @#$%*. Look I love a good revamp as much as the next geek. However, what J.J did was just stupid!. First off I like the movie--that is if I pretend to have never of heard of star trek. If I am reading this right at the end of the flick Vulcan was still destroyed. What Happened to the rules every author has to follow concening the Star Trek continuity. You can only change things if you change them back. Also you can never to create a love affair between two main characters. So now what? There is no Vulcan for Kirk And Spock to fight to the death! And what about the famous kiss between Kirk and Uhura. No J.J you dropped the ball. On top of bad camera work ( every thing was to big for the screen can you image what i will be like on DVD. Why can't these directors tap in the real fan base before the waste the studio's hard earned cash and my time.
On a positive note the guy playing Bone did an excellent job. i almost believed it was a young Deforest Kelly
