Harrison Ford On Returning For STAR WARS EPISODE VII: "I Think It's Going To Happen"

Harrison Ford talks briefly about returning as Han Solo for Disney's Star Wars: Episode VII, confirming that he isn't officially signed on yet but he sounds very optimistic about it.

While it has been widely expected/speculated, the protagonist trio of the original Star Wars trilogy - Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) and Harrison Ford (Han Solo) - have yet to officially sign on to return for Disney/Lucasfilm's Episode VII, which will be directed by J.J. Abrams. Seemingly premature reports stated that Ford was already signed on, but Hamill more recently confirmed otherwise despite discussions taking place. Speaking with WGN TV while promoting 42, Ford is asked about returning to the iconic role of Han Solo. He reiterates that he isn't officially signed on yet, but he seems pretty sure that negotiations will turn out well. "I think it's almost true. I'm looking forward to it. It's not in the bag yet, but I think it's going to happen."

Michael Ardnt (Toy Story 3) is working on the script for Disney, Lucasfilm and J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII, which is targeting a 2015 release.

Sorry to be off topic, but how do you change the article from "Check it out after the jump!" to the long description; how do you edit the article title and description.

None of the original actors should be in it. Why does everyone think this is a good idea?

Solo, Leia, Lando should die in the Falcon within 30 mins of the movie. Chewie should sacrifice himself later in the movie saving Solo's children. The droids need to help Jedi Master Luke and continue on through the new trilogy (all 9 parts). Luke should be killed in part VII, and continue helping Leia's children through parts VIII and IX as a force ghost, like Obi-wan did.
