Following Disney's acquisition of LucasFilm last week, speculation has been running rampant ever since as to which of the actors from the original Star Wars trilogy may reprise their roles in 2015's Episode VII. We've already heard from a few of the core cast members, but Unleash The Fanboy managed to catch up with Jeremy Bullock (a.k.a. Boba Fett) to ask him whether or not he would be interested in making a return as the iconic bounty hunter. "It would be lovely to see Boba Fett back!" he told the site. "The technology now exists to make his jet pack even more realistic and exciting. I'm sure if Boba Fett were to return they would go with someone younger, but I’m still fit and can jump around. I’d love to be involved in some way, maybe a cameo as an ageing Bounty Hunter in the corner somewhere." To be honest, this makes sense, especially when the character he played was hidden behind a mask in ALL of his appearances and Bulloch didn't actually even voice Fett. Regardless, you can read more of his comments on the Disney news and planned follow-up by clicking on the link below.

I met this guy at a Star Wars convention in Dublin, really cool and chatty. Whether he returns or not Fett HAS to..I mean that's like...making another Star Wars without Bobba Fett!

Don't know how they can bring him back after he got eaten by a Sand Vagina..

[frick] yeah, would be epic to see old Boba, chilling on Mandalore, his people working on Bes'kar ships/armor.

They should definitely include Boba Fett, but yes, recast him. Hopefully more bounty hunters will be involved in the new trilogy, instead of pointless battle droids.

I'm pretty sure Jeremy Bulloch did voice Boba in the Original Empire Strikes Back, only to be dubbed over by Temuera Morrison's voice for the DVD special edition

@Nerdy Geek - In the Expanded Universe Boba was rescued by Dengar and eventually rose to the ranks of Mandalore. I hope he comes back because he went out like a BITCH in Return of the Jedi

He's the last Fett. He has to escape the sarlac and come back! In the book Tales Of The Bounty Hunters, he escapes and has amnesia, realizing years later his desire to once again pursue Han Solo.

And also bring in Mirta. That would be badass.

Jeremy Bulloch cameo - sounds great. Boba Fett back at all - no. As far as the movies are concerned he died in the Sarlaac. If they just don't show him or say he's dead he can just live on in the EU like he has for years.

I always was down on Fett and never understood the love he got. He seems like this badass and looks cool but then goes out like a punk without really doing much.

He did escape the Sarlacc in the follow up novels, but obviously they won't be canon with these new movies. Still, it was one of the most ridiculous ways for such a great character to go out so I hope they do bring him back somehow.

It would fit well especially if they followed even a trace of the books. Seeing him train one of the Solo twins on screen to be badass would be baller

Especially if they based the next trilogy losely on the series that sees Jacen go apeshit on the galaxy

Jeremy Bulloch coming back as Boba Fett would be cool. Boba Fett was one of my favorite characters in the Star Wars movies.

The only people I want to see return are Han, Luke and Leia, and really, I'd be happy with just Han, living in a shack on some desolate planet, hiding from a newly reformed Empire, sleeping on a Wookie rug. (jk) Disney knows what it's doing. SW isn't supposed to be anything but popcorn... regardless of what the nerds think.
Seriously, Han, Luke, Leia and Darth are the only people in SW most have any interest in... Lucas made the rest worthless and weak, a real shame, or created new characters that were simply embarassing.

@IDKwhattochoose- Totally. I freaking loved the scenes (from the LotF books) where Jaina is on Mandalore, training with Mirta, Boba and Goran. Bad ass.

As far as I know, they were planning a Boba Fett movie for years before the Bounty Hunter game and the Prequel Trilogy came out.

Seriously though, to bring back Boba back will be [frick]ing awesome. He was (and still is) my only favorite Star Wars character in the entire trilogy. A bad@$$ character, nonetheless. So, yes. Pretty please, Disney, bring back Boba Fett. :)

I think if you have him, which don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of the Prequels, but isn't he just another clone played by Temuera Morrison, which is another reason I hate the idea of all the 501st being just him....But I digress. Boba has to be somewhat digested, which is the only way it would work.

On another note, I think if they don't do any previous books or stories out there, you absolutely have to make Jedi's go bad. All of them save for Luke or his descendants. Or maybe it's his son or daughter that take up the mantle of Vader.

As cool as it would be to see Boba Fett return, it would come off a little tiresome, I think. I would rather they give him his own offshoot film once they finish this trilogy. Regardless, I'm all for a Jeremy Bulloch cameo.

I think this film should focus on Luke attempting to rebuild the Jedi order. Assuming 25-30 years have passed after ROTJ, he may have established a small band of Jedi (including his family) already. I would love to see the Imperial Remnant (because after 25-30 years they should finally be reduced to remnant) attempt to bolster Luke's cause by allying with some sort of dark jedi (although not sith) who has some connection to the events of the prequels or originals.

If they found a way to squeeze in Boba's dad in the prequels simply to satisfy the geek fans, you better believe they'll find a way to force our famous Mandalorian into the next trilogy.

Jason Wingreen was thr original voice of Boba Fett. I believe whoever helms these new movies will know after all that's been done so far, what works and what doesn't. If you really want to fill the seats with he old school fans....you gotta have Boba.
