We've had quite a bit of Star Wars content today already, and now Lucasfilm has debuted a new Dolby Cinema-exclusive poster for The Rise of Skywalker.

This one-sheet takes a break from spotlighting the main heroes and villains of the saga to drop us in on the middle of a space-battle, as a lone Resistance X-Wing pilot bravely faces down an entire fleet of First Order Star Destroyers.

The red markings on the ships may suggest that these Destroyers are actually part of Emperor Palpatine's hidden army that's rumored to join the fray towards the end of the movie.

Check out the poster below along with some new promo shots of Kylo Ren and those EW covers, and let us know what you think. The final installment in the Skywalker Saga will be with us next month.

They have taken away from me the excitement I used to have for Star Wars.

[frick] this movie.

@StarlordsDad - Not a problem really, just a disappointing fact. This movie should be a ace-in-the-hole, Avengers Endgame type cinematic event. It's not. The direction that the sequel trilogy has taken hasn't been conducive to traditional Star Wars world building and character development. Star Wars is great, and they have abandoned what made it great. It has been secondary to an agenda driven narrative with ZERO cohesive over-arching story structure. This movie won't bomb, but it will fall short of expectation at the box office.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who feel the way my friends and I do who will speak in the only voice that they have that the studios can hear: our pocketbooks.

As much as The Last Jedi really killed the new trilogy for me, I'm going to go into this movie with an open mind. I'm excited. Not as excited as I would like to be, but excited nonetheless. At least Palpy is something to look forward to.
