"A source says Star Wars: Episode VII director J.J. Abrams and Disney are planning to build out an extensive re-creation of Tatooine, the desolate home planet of Luke and Anakin Skywalker, in a Morocco-like environment (the original was built in Tunisia)." - hollywoodreporter.com

Over the past few weeks, Star Wars VII news has finally started to trickle out. Not much, but something. We got a bit of casting news with Peter Mayhew returning to play 'Chewbacca,' and producer Alan Horn confirmed that 2nd unit filming has already taken place. And today, a source for the ever-reliable Hollywood Reporter says Tatooine sets are being built. Sound familiar? It should. At the beginning of the month a source for Badass Digest informed them Star Wars VII would film some scenes in Morocco. That info lead Badass Digest to speculate that abandoned Tatooine sets in that area would be reused.
