Here is a little something different that we don't normally cover here at ComicBookMovie.com. Today we are looking at one of the coolest home theaters you will ever come across. This one is based on a couples love of the Star Wars franchise and their love shows in both the quality and care taken in putting the room together!

This Star Wars inspired theater rivals the LucasArts Ranch in regards to authentic Star Wars memorabilia. This Grand Imperial theater is owned by a couple passionate Star Wars fans just outside of Seattle. Designed to appear like the command deck of the Death Star from The Empire Strikes Back, you will find a variety of life sized Star Wars characters in the theater including C-3PO, Boba Fett and Han Solo frozen in carbonite. The entrance to the theater is covered in poster cases from the three original Star Wars movies as well as a poster for The Phantom Menace and the Clone Wars animated series.

The theater is equipped with three rows of seating (Cinematech Valentino Chairs) and stretches back a bit over 20 feet from the screen to the rear wall. The crystal clear image is sent to the screen by a Runco VX5C 3-Chip DLP Projector and surround sound bounces off the Death Star walls with a series of Meridian speakers. You will also find a Pioneer Laserdisc Player, Meridian 800 DVD Player, Meridian 861 Preamp, Crestron Theater Remote and a Monster HTS3600 Power Center equipped in the theater. (See the second to last slide for the entire equipment list).

Do you have a home theater? If so contact me here and maybe we can make this a bi-weekly or monthly feature.

Haha just shows how much of an impact a beloved franchise leaves on people growing up. Some people will never forget watching that movie for the first time in 1977 in theaters. From Star Wars based weddings to things like this is just awesome. Nerds Unite

The prequel props ruin it, although I've never seen that Episode I poster before. I would have made the screen about 3 times as large and improved the layout a bit. Where's the "King of the Wicker People"? -I hope someone gets that joke

It is a shame that whoever wrote the text in the yellow box is not a true Star Wars fan, according to what was written here: "Designed to appear like the command deck of the Death Star from The Empire Strikes Back". There was no Death Star in The Empire Strikes Back.
