Zac Efron Says There's "Irons In The Fire" Regarding A STAR WARS Role

Efron has already confirmed that he (along with 80% of the rest of the actors under 30 in Hollywood) has read for a part in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII, but it seems even this close to the movie's shoot date he may still be in with a chance of nabbing a role.

As things finally begin to take shape with Star Wars Episode VII (that is, we're expecting an announcement of some kind May 4th, and ..umm...some original cast members have been spotted around London!), one young actor could still be in for a shot at one of the highly sought after roles. We had heard that most of the main cast were in place, but that there were still some roles to fill -- could one of 'em go to Zac Efron? While speaking to 5 News about his new comedy Bad Neighbors, Efron says that although he doesn't want to talk too much about it, there are "irons in the fire".

Do you think Efron would be a good addition to the cast? Which type of character could you see him playing? Sound off below.
