TERMINATOR GENISYS Receives A Pretty Scathing Honest Trailer

More like 'Terminator Genishyt'. It seems Screen Junkies weren't the biggest fans of Alan Taylor's Terminator Genisys. They've pulled no punches with their latest Honest Trailer, tearing into the acting, story, dialogue and poor old Jai Courtney. Hit the jump to check it out!

The fifth installment in Paramount's Terminator franchise may have been saved from flopping financially thanks to an impressive international run - but that didn't stop the movie from sucking in the eyes many viewers. Despite all of James Cameron's promises, Terminator Genisys failed to get the popular sci-fi franchise back on track - at least from a critical viewpoint.

Naturally, the folks at Screen Junkies have torn the film a new one with their latest Honest Trailer - directing plenty of abuse towards its overcomplicated plot and lack of originality. Oh, and Hollywood's biggest scapegoat, Jai Courtney. Of course. You can check it out below!

What did you think of the movie? Are Screen Junkies full of shyt, or do they make some valid points? Rant away in the comments below!

Also, at the risk of sounding completely hypocritical, be sure to enter CBM's sweet Terminator Genisys giveaway. Hey... it's free stuff, what's not to like?!

Jai Courtney was really decent in Spartacus. But if you'd told me out of all the lesser known folks on that show he would be the one to land the big Hollywood roles... He must really have one hell of an agent.

Terminator is not like the MCU, don't treat the franchise as such and fulfill a contractual obligation to make a bagillion flicks. Same goes for Jurassic park.

I'm just glad mad max was not only a solid movie, it was actually revolutionary. Hoping the same for Star Wars, it's looking as such.

Spot on, also Jai COurtney turned Reese into a Douchebag instead of making him a battle hardened warrior.

They're on point with everything, except the incest joke. It's not incest, since Kyle isn't related to Sarah. What a unbelievable bad movie. Worse than Terminator 3 & 4.

I liked this movie mostly. I even liked a lot of things in it more than Age Of Ultron. I don't see the things wrong with Jai or maybe i just don't care. There was some emotional moments in there that i was surprised at.

But i never want to see this movie again.

I know if i do,I'll start to see all the problems with it.

Also,[frick]ing done with time travel. It's a never ending cycle. I would rather see skynet win (which it should,it's smarter.) than to ever see the same time travel shit that skynet should be way better at using.

And why was skynet's core (in the original story/timeline) where the humans could even find or access? Skynet could always drill thousands of feet into the ground where no raid would reach.

So when it reached the end and Skynet had come up with a plan B i was like "FINALLY!"

Seriously though,kill this franchise.
