When it comes to Hollywood, never say never!

An organization of Terminator fans calling themselves Skynet's Army: Terminator Fans United have been reportedly contacted by someone claiming to have inside information about the future of Terminator films. What they revealed is the next installment of the franchise could be directed by none other than the Terminator creator himself James Cameron.

The insider claims that Cameron’s involvement with Terminator Genisys and a brand new 3-D conversion of T2 has reignited his passion in his hit sci-fi franchise and might have one more story to tell. The site goes on to say while they have no insight on what the story might be, "if the deal indeed does happen, we should expect it to be officially announced this summer during the 25th Anniversary of “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”."

The fan group insists we should temper our expectations and only treat this as a rumor until this revelation is confirmed by either Skydance or James Cameron.

How this would fit in with the Avatar sequels is anyone's guess.

The only way to get interest in this franchise again is bringing Cameron back.
Also, I hope this T2 3D release is true. $2 billion for sure.

@ManCalledSting I just meant that T2 is the best movie there is. In my opinion, if I'm allowed.

I wasn´t a huge fan of Genisys but it's much better than that Avatar crap. He should abandon that shit project and return the franchise for sure.

I'm pretty sure Cameron is busy with THREE Avatar sequels.

If this happens, it won't even start production for 3-4 years.

Seriously, everybody should just block Jollem. I did it a while ago and it makes the comments section a much more pleasant place. I don't know why he is always so suffocatingly negative towards the MCU, but it's tiring. And I find it sad because it makes the fanboys (myself included) look bad. He's desperate to start a fight and i don't know why. My advice would be, if you don't like the films then don't click the article and certainly don't comment. Just move along. It seems so much like common sense but I guess not everybody thinks the same way I do.

@TheManWithoutFear - The problem with common sense is that now days, it isn't that common. The whole Marvel V.S. DC thing is super exhausting. You have about 4-5 terrible users on both sides of the coin who like to start shit in the comment sections. Unfortunately, not everyone has the maturity to just ignore it. Everybody takes stuff on here so personal.

I so would like to see James future Terminator trilogy over the Avatar trilogy he soon will be making. The tech is finally at the spot where James could make the story he wanted to tell in the 80s, but couldn't and now that it is here I want to see it. So I'm all for bring James back to the series.
