Internet sleuths have figured out the TRON Legacy viral marketing clues, which unveiled the first official trailer for the film. Click on the image below to be directed to the high definition trailer's once hidden location:



TRON Legacy follows the story of Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidante (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

The film is scheduled for release December 2010.

Sorry Iron Man 2. You just got blown out of the water. This is easily the most gorgeous film I have ever seen, and one of the most amazing trailers as well. Absolutely INCREDIBLE.

NOW THIS MOVIE WAS MADE FOR 3D!..and I hate 3D movies that just tack it on but this one was made for it!

I forgot how much fun I had playing the Tron video game in the arcade until I watched this trailer. I haven't seen the movie in years, but remember enjoying it thoroughly every time I did. I'll take my kids to see this one, and totally embarrass their asses with my "lame" stories of back-in-the-day. Can't wait!

The more i see of Hedlund, the more i see a kick ass Winter Soldier! I can totally see why he's a contender to be Cap since he's Disney's new golden egg and that he does somewhat have some of Cap's requirements so it would be logical for them to choose Hedlund but he's definitely not the best choice for Steve Rogers. Out of the last list, Vogel is still the best choice but Jensen Ackles is still the perfect Cap! I would totally jizz to see Jensen as Cap goin' at it against Hedlund as Winter Soldier in a Cap sequel!!!

As for TronL vs Ironman2, i'm AS giddy for the both of them!!! THIS IS AWESOME :))

GET CAPT. JOHN SHERIDAN IN THERE ASAP!!!!!

The more I see Hedlund the more I see Steve Rogers.

The more I think about the strategic advantages of casting the star of Tron:legacy in Cap' the more I want it to happen.

The more I think about how Disney now owns Marvel, the more I believe that this is actually what is going to happen.

Looks great. I still think Hedlund looks a bit like a girl though. Bridges won that Oscar as an over due nod to everything he's ever done!

Yes Ror, Hedlund really does look feminine or baby faced. I really can't see him as the manliest hero to hail from Marvel.

Hedlund fits Bucky.
