SHAZAM! - FURY OF THE GODS Possibly Casting The Three Faces Of Evil Or The Kindly Ones

We may finally have an idea about Shazam! - Fury of the Gods' villains, as a new report reveals the actresses Warner Bros. is looking to base their casting decision on for three female big bads...

The Illuminerdi is reporting that three mysterious sisters are being sought for Shazam! - Fury of the Gods. They're set to act as "adversaries" to the Shazam Family, and the type of actresses Warner Bros. and New Line are basing their search on give us a decent idea of what to expect.

Referred to in a casting call only as the "Sisters," they're all in different age groups, with the youngest set to be just 17. It's said that Spider-Man: Far From Home actress Zendaya is being used as a template, with the middle sister, an adult, based on Halle Berry or an Eva Green-type. Finally, the eldest sister is in her fifties or sixties, with Helen Mirren mentioned as the studio's dream pick.

There's nothing to say any of these stars have been offered the roles, of course, but at least we know the sort of talent Shazam! - Fury of the Gods hopes to secure in the upcoming sequel.

Who are the "Sisters"? Well, the site has some suggestions, naming The Kindly Ones - three powerful witches called Cynthia, Mildred and Mordred from the Sandman Universe - as one possibility.  Another, far more likely, option is that they're the Three Faces of Evil, Terror, Sin, and Wickedness.

They'd be a worthy threat to the Shazam family alongside Dr. Sivana and Mister Mind, and we'll just have to hope they fare better than the mostly forgettable, entirely CGI, Seven Deadly Sins in Shazam!

We'll keep you updated as we learn more.

Margo Martindale to be the old witch. She is 69 years old and can seem sweet to later reveal herself as an evil woman.

@Repian - Ruth Wilson to be the witch in the middle. The Eva Green type witch.

Mr. Mind does need an army.

Or else the Shazam family wouldn't have anything to do.

@DARKSIDEIS - Monster Society.

What is actually going on with this movie? I thought they were doing the Monster Society.

If these really are the Erinyes, then first of all: OH SHIT. They better be careful. Like seriously. That shit's potent. Read the warning label.

But also: If this is the same Multiverse as Netflix's Sandman, then you might want to get the same actresses for both, because they would literally be the same characters, since Hell is just one single dimension in all the multiverse.

Hopefully the sequel will explain how Shazam had to practice a lot to get good as his new abilities, but his adopted siblings were able to utilize their new skills to what seemed their fullest abilities without any practice.

I'm kidding. I just thought it was kind of funny, but I'm just there to enjoy myself and whatever they give me.

I hope they'll be in league with Mister Mind, because I'm so stoked for a villain in a cbm to be a magical caterpillar.
