Although the character of Nancy Callaghan has already played her most prominent part in Frank Miller's Sin City stories, featuring on-screen in Robert Rodriguez's That Yellow Bastard portion of the movie, she does pop up in some of the other books that could easily tie into the sequel. The sequel that nobody seems to have a clue whats happening with! Alba does however say she would love to return, and that she and Rodriguez speak all the time..

"I've never read a script, no. [But] We talk all the time, he's really a dear friend of mine, and I'd do anything for him. Collaborating with him on this movie was so much fun."

"He knows how to portray very powerful women," she added. "It was cool. It had humor and it was sexy and it was action-packed. There's nothing like a Robert Rodriguez movie."

The most persistent rumor regarding the sequel is that it will focus mainly on A Dame To Kill For, which features the characters of Dwight(Clive Owen..although since Dame is a prequel and Dwight looked very different, another actor may be required) and Marv(Mickey Rourke) as well as a brand new femme fatal, Ava. Rodriguez is rumored to be seeking Angelina Jolie for this role but nothing has been confirmed yet. Either way I just hope this happens sooner or later.
