Spawn's Michael Jai White Still Kicking Ass in Straight-To-DVD

Not Big news but...Michael Jai White ("Spawn", "The Dark Knight") is the star of an upcoming straight-to-dvd martial arts flick. The name of the film is "Blood and Bone". It's basically about a man who after getting released from prison...enters into the world of underground fighting in order to avenge a friend.

The film is directed by Ben Ramsey, writer of the 1998 Action flick "The Big Hit" [starring Mark Wahlberg and Lou Diamond Phillips]. Ben Ramsey also wrote "Dragonball Evolution"...but let's not talk about that. Ben Ramsey is also the "announced" writer of the upcoming LUKE CAGE movie [according to IMDB].

Off topic:IF they actually go forward with a Blade reboot [recently talked about by David S. Goyer], I think MJW should take over the role. Then again, maybe he could play Luke Cage.

"Blood and Bone" is a VERY low budget film but it still looks interesting, and MJW's fighting skills are still on point.

Here's the trailer:
