Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (December 14)

Here's an exclusive new still from the highly-anticipated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, featuring a spectacular new look at the original Spider-Man (Jake Johnson) in action against an unknown villain that will presumably send the wall-crawler into an early retirement.

Shameik Moore (Dope) headlines the animated adventure as Miles Morales while Academy Award-nominee Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee) voices Gwen Stacy. Academy Award-winner Mahershala Ali (Moonlight), 2x Primetime Emmy-nominee Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), and 6x Golden Globe-nominee Liev Schreiber (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) also feature.

Aquaman (December 21)

Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) and Mera (Amber Heard) make a happy discovery in this cool new still from James Wan's upcoming underwater DC adventure, Aquaman

The Justice Leaguer's first solo outing will arrive on one of the busiest days of the year, opening alongside six other major films, including 20th Century Fox's Alita: Battle Angel, Paramount's Bumblebee, Universal's Welcome to Marwen, Columbia's Holmes and Watson, Amazon's Cold War, and Shah Rukh Khan's Zero

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (November 16)

Leta Lestrange (Zoë Kravitz) doesn't look impressed during a disagreement between her fiancé Theseus Scamander (Callum Turner) and his brother Newt (Eddie Redmayne).

The sequel will also feature Jude Law as young Albus Dumbledore and Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald.

Bumblebee (December 21)

Hailee Steinfeld (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) connects with young Bumblebee in this new photo from his upcoming spinoff. The Travis Knight-directed film will take a drastically different approach at the franchise as we explore the Autobots in a decade long before their adventures in present day.

Alita: Battle Angel (December 21)

With an estimated $200 million production budget, Alita: Battle Angel is easily one of this year's riskiest bets, but with names like Robert Rodriguez and James Cameron attached as director and producer, respectively, it's hard to imagine it won't at least be an entertaining time at the cinema this coming holiday season.

Halloween (October 19)

Forty years after first crossing paths with Michael Myers, Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as a seasoned Laurie Strode and she's going to do whatever it takes to protect her family, which includes daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak), from the return of Myers.

David Gordon Green helms this direct sequel to the 1978 classic with a script he co-wrote with Jeff Fradley and Danny McBride.

Robin Hood (November 21)

The Prince of Thieves is back in action with Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Golden Circle) under the hood. Jamie Foxx (Baby Driver), Ben Mendelsohn (Ready Player One), and Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades Freed) also star.

Ralph Breaks the Internet (November 21)

Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) unites all of your favorite Disney princesses in this enchanting new photo from the long-awaited Ralph Breaks the Internet.

The princesses will include Cinderella (Jennifer Hale), Aurora (Kate Higgins), Ariel (Jodi Benson), Belle (Paige O'Hara), Jasmine (Linda Larkin), Pocahontas (Irene Bedard), Mulan (Ming-Na Wen), Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), Rapunzel (Mandy Moore), Merida (Kelly Macdonald), Anna (Kristen Bell), Elsa (Idina Menzel), Moana (Auli'i Cravalho), and Snow White (Pamela Ribon).

Mary Poppins Returns (December 19)

Hot on the heels of A Quiet Place, Emily Blunt returns to wow audiences again this December in Mary Poppins Returns. She'll be joined in her new adventure by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Moana), Ben Whishaw (Spectre), Emily Mortimer (Shutter Island), Colin Firth (Kingsman: The Golden Circle), and Meryl Streep (The Post).

Creed II (November 21)

Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther), Tessa Thompson (Thor: Ragnarok), and Sylvester Stallone (Rocky) return in Creed II, the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2015 Ryan Coogler-directed film. This time, however, Steven Caple Jr. takes on directing duties.

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (November 2)

Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean), Mackenzie Foy (Interstellar), Eugenio Derbez (Overboard), Helen Mirren (Winchester), and Morgan Freeman (Going In Style) star in The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, a new take on Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker ballet and E. T. A. Hoffman's The Nutcracker and the Mouse King.

The Girl in the Spider's Web (November 9)

Lisbeth Salander is finally getting her sequel, but this time, it'll be Claire Foy (The Crown) taking on the role with Fede Álvarez (Don't Breathe) in the director's chair.

Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch (November 9)

The Grinch returns this holiday season to ruin Christmas for Whoville yet again in an all-new animated adventure that will feature the voice talents of the Sorcerer Supreme himself, Benedict Cumberbatch (Avengers: Infinity War).

First Man (October 12)

After winning an Academy Award for La La Land, director Damien Chazelle returns to the big screen with First Man, a biographical film based on the life of Neil Armstrong.

Ryan Gosling (Blade Runner 2049) stars as Armstrong with a supporting cast that features Claire Foy (The Crown), Corey Stoll (Ant-Man), Kyle Chandler (Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Jason Clarke (Chappaquiddick), and Shea Whigham (Sicario: Day of the Soldado).

Bad Times at the El Royale (October 12)

Not much is known about Drew Goddard's Bad Times at the El Royale, but based on that first trailer alone, this may very well turn out to be one of the best films of the year.

The impressive ensemble cast features Jeff Bridges (Kingsman: The Golden Circle), Cynthia Erivo (Widows), Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades Freed), Jon Hamm (Tag), Cailee Spaeny (Pacific Rim Uprising), Lewis Pullman (Battle of the Sexes), Jim O'Heir (Parks and Recreation), Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Mark O'Brien (Arrival) and Chris Hemsworth (Avengers: Infinity War).

The House With a Clock in Its Walls (September 21)

Jack Black (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle), Cate Blanchett (Thor: Ragnarok), and newcomer Owen Vaccaro feature in this new photo from Eli Roth's next directorial venture, The House With a Clock in Its Walls

The film is based on the John Bellairs novel of the same name and was adapted for the screen by Supernatural creator Eric Kripke.

The Predator (September 14)

The Yautja in all its beauty.

After reworking its entire third act, Shane Black's The Predator is just around a month away from finally making its grand debut. Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), and Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us) make up the star cast.

The Nun (September 7)

From the mind of horror maestros, James Wan and Gary Dauberman, comes The Nun, a direct spin-off of The Conjuring 2 and fifth overall installment in the horror series.

Corin Hardy (The Hallow) takes the helm with a star cast featuring Demián Bichir (Alien: Covenant) and Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story), who is coincidentally the younger sister of The Conjuring star Vera Farmiga.

Peppermint (September 7)

Jennifer Garner (Daredevil; Elektra) is a mother seeking revenge in this Pierre Morel-directed action thriller. John Gallagher Jr. (10 Cloverfield Lane), John Ortiz (Fast & Furious 6), and Method Man (Marvel's Luke Cage) co-star.

Holmes and Watson (December 21)

A decade after their escapades in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Step Brothers, Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly reunite for a very different kind of comedy in Holmes and Watson.

A full-length trailer has yet-to-make its way online, but we were treated to a first look at CinemaCon and this one might just end up surprising audiences this December.

Venom (October 5)

We saw this photo yesterday, but in case you missed it, here it is again. Be sure to click through to get some cool new details about the relationship between Eddie Brock and his new symbiote friend.

Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, Jenny Slate, and Woody Harrelson star in the Ruben Fleischer-directed superhero movie.

They've been stuck in this shitty loop hole for god know how much, maybe House of M!!!
This is NOT how you do a relaunch, c'mon...
3 writers, and i f*cking hate Rosenberg, dunno why they keep offering him X-titles after X-titles, he's mediocre af.
Brisson i like.
Kinda meh on Thompson.

@Doomsday8888 - Yeah, the same article I found. And I agree with you 100%. Marvel doesn't know how to handle the X-Men since "No more Mutants" was put into Wanda's speech bubble.

@Doomsday8888 - IDK why anyone gets excited about the potential for the comics anymore. Marvel's been screwing the pooch for too long and it shouldn't surprise anyone.

Out of all of these films, Bad Times at the El Royale has me the most intrigued. Hopefully the film lives up to the interest.

I wonder, if they are received well, if Disney would do a Wreck IT Ralph spinoff focused in the all the princesses.
