No, this is not a Reddit rumor. The last news we got from Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse was only a description of what happened in the trailer for shown at CinemaCon, but today director Peter Ramsey has revealed on his Twitter that we will be getting more news based on the highly-anticipated animated Marvel film coming in December.
 



Based on what the description from CinemaCon told us, we'll most likely finally get a look at the finalized version of the footage that includes looks at The Kingpin, Ultimate Green Goblin, & Ultimate Prowler, & we'll also get a look at the relationship that Peter Parker & Miles Morales share with each other. Perhaps we'll even get a glimpse at the other Spider-People as well...

Starring Shameik Moore as Miles Morales & Jake Johnson as Peter Parker, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse swings into theatres December 14, 2018

I’m confused if this will actually adapt parts of the Spider-verse story, like, the multiple universes aspect

It would be cool to have something like that though (whether it be made for the movies, or for television/streaming). Would be really cool to see all the versions of the "friendly neighborhood spider" we haven't seen in action (outside of the comic) just yet.

I know it most likely won't happen, but I think it would be cool to have a Spider-verse movie, or tv series (special) that has ALL the versions of our 'friendly neighborhood spider (hero)" and I mean all.

I want to see Spider-Monkey making an appearance
