DAREDEVIL Star Charlie Cox Continues To Play Coy About Rumored SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Return

A lot of fans run the risk of being disappointed if Charlie Cox doesn't return as the Man Without Fear in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk, but recent comments from the actor may reign in expectations.

Rumours that we'll see Charlie Cox return as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home continue to persist, and while the actor has previously denied those claims, it seems he's now choosing his words a little more carefully. During an interview with Forbes, Cox was asked about all the speculation surrounding his MCU future and seemed wary of confirming or denying his Daredevil future.

"I don't really tend to think about it that much. I'm just conscious of when I'm asked about it," he admitted. "I don't want to ruin anything for fans either way."

"My answer is no comment; I don't know what's going to happen. I genuinely don't know. If there was a chance of that happening in the future, I don't want to say something that could potentially jeopardize those chances," Cox continued. "The people high up at Marvel, maybe they see this stuff, or they hear what I say or blah, blah, blah...maybe that influences it."

This certainly doesn't sound good for anyone looking forward to seeing him join the MCU after appearing in Marvel Television's Nextflix shows, but it's feasible he's simply looking to throw us off the scent. Either way, Cox acknowledged that he's grateful to the fans for their continued support.

"I don't know, I have no idea. I love how passionate the fans are and I feel very, very touched that so many of them have gone online and made their voices heard about their desire for me to come back, and maybe in the future that might happen, and that would be great. Who knows? We'll see."

According to online scoopers, we'll first see Cox in Spider-Man: No Way Home before he brings Daredevil back to the small screen in She-Hulk. Both projects are a good fit for the Man Without Fear, but whether this is just wishful thinking or something that will really happen remains to be seen.

If the introduction of the Multiverse has done anything, though, it's opened the door to the possibility of Cox being given the opportunity to return as a new version of his Marvel Television vigilante.

Gotta say, if garfield isn't in the movie, he should pay attention to what Topher grace is saying and take notes.

Would be cool to see Cox and Garfield promote NWH together

Out of all the rumours and stuff been circulating, I have to admit Cox being in NWH has been the one I least believe.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - same. With Marvel able to do the Netflix heroes now… why keep it Netflix? Conan just retired too, that’s Matt AND Foggy

Also, what it is going on with this site? Is it just me or has anyone else’s comments been playing up?

@Se4M4NSt4ine - Comments weren't working at all yesterday for newer articles. I think they've fixed the issues though.

No matter what an actor says about a possible appearance, the comment itself is always gonna be twisted into a confirmation he or she is. I believe it when I see it

This sounds like he's not in it...

He's way better at this than Garfield is. Probably comes from more years of Marvel work.

We're just going to get more of the same of this until release now. That might get tedious.

At this point I’ll believe he’s back when I see it. I really hope so because Daredevil is some of the best stuff Marvel has ever made. They’d be foolish to throw that away

Hell yes. JUst last night I started to re-watch the series yet again. Season 1 and 3 (and the first half or so of season 2) are as if they'd taken everything good about the Miller-Bendis runs and put it onscreen, despite budget constraints (when compared with the D+ shows)
