Here is an excerpt from the report posted by Greta Van Susteren from Fox News. If you're interested in reading the whole thing, you can do so by clicking on the link below. Here are the Spider-Man relevent excerpts from the site.

He thanked Michael Lynton and Amy Pascal for letting him use their space.

"I know they're incredibly busy. I was just hearing about Spider-Man 4, so I'm all psyched up about that. Seriously, I'm very big on Spider-Man."

While the President was spotted reading a Spider-Man comic book during his first campaign for the White House, it's good to know that he's also looking forward to the upcoming movie! And if you're reading this Mr. President (yeah, yeah, it's unlikely we know!) stay tuned to CBM for all the news on the upcoming reboot as we have it.

With an all star cast that includes Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy, Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors, Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben and Sally Field as Aunt May, The Amazing Spider-Man is set to be released in 3D on July 3, 2012!

I can't wait til Obama is out of office. He doesn't do anything but glad hand celebrities and pick his NCAA bracket. Who cares what the [frick] he thinks about spiderman? How about you worry about America's crippling debt, illegal immigration issues, and getting our troops the [frick] out of the middle east and stop talking about irrelevant stuff that does not require his input. There my rant is over I am just sick of seeing him talk about stuff like this instead of coming through on any of the changes he promised to bring about.

@RyanLantern- I am not a political person, but I definitely see where you are coming from. Obama appears to be interested in making his image more memorable than his actions. Of course, that's just my opinion.

Does anyone really care what the leader of the United States Military thinks? Maybe its time to get a president that doesnt want to rule the world and support a militaristic regime. Ron Paul for 2012.

Mr. President say it ain't so. Has it already come to the point where you will begin to pander to the geek community for a few more votes. Stay away if you can. We here are often trifle and small. We can often be found [female dog]ing amongst ourselves over whether Wonder Womans boobs are too small or if the Joker ought to be in the next movie or how long Tom Welling ought to be seen in his Superman suit. We need our President to appear Presidential. Run away from us Mr. President. Run like hell!

@ Lert,

You MUST be joking...fox news is the most biased news network in the World. The "facts" that they spew have been debunked many times by non-partisan organizations like factcheck.com and Media Matters.

I suggest you stop drinking their kool-aid.

@ RyanLantern77 - Thank you SO MUCH for enlightening us all with your political views. I feel so awakened to the American plight thanks to you. Seriously, go Troll on Fox News' forums or Cnn.com You'd obviously use any opportunity to trash Obama and shove your political views down our throats, just leave it off of this particular forum.

The fact that he likes Spider-Man may be the one thing I can find tolerable about Obama.

Ryanlantern raises some excellent points. One of the centerpiece things Obama promised was to get us out of the illegal and imperialist wars in the Middle East. He sure kept that one! We're still wasting billions of dollars to defend the poppy crops in Afghanistan (the real reason we're over there- Pat Tillman was killed when he learned this truth and was ready to tell the world about it), and now we're illegally invading Libya. Trillion dollar deficits since 2009 are unsustainable and will collapse the economy, probably soon. If you don't know, a trillion is a 1 with FIFTEEN zeroes after it. 1,000,000,000,000,000. Cutting a few million here and there in the budget is like saving pennies by buying stuff in the next county over with a 1/4 cent less sales tax. Real and meaningful cuts are needed to start taming this monster.

But don't blame me. I voted for REAL change from Bush and his globalist policies. I voted for Ron Paul.
