Stan Lee Reacts to the Spider-Man Reboot

Stan Lee Reacts to the Spider-Man Reboot

Talks AGAIN about his Iron Man 2 cameo.

"I think it's a good idea, personally. After a while things feel a little the same," Lee said of the announcement that director Marc Webb would carry the franchise in a new direction. "Making him younger, playing up the problems of a teenage kid with a super power, which is the way he was originally wirten when we first did the book, I think it'll be interesting."

says Stan and more....

I'm a fan of Stan Lee, when he talks I listen. I'm just grateful of his contribution to this whole craziness that are comicbooks.

-ACCESS out. Godspeed and MABUHAY!

I would watch a reboot, but I wish they would look to other characters. Too many expectations taking such a huge franchise and spinning it. The movie has to be great or it'll be considered a flop jeopardizing future movies. 100 million might not be considered good enough at the box office.

How about a movie featuring Hawkeye, Dr. Strange, Cable, or any of a thousand good characters. Good writing and directing could make new mega-franchises.

@Anil: I'm not gonna lie: I'm really getting sick of Stan Lee. He reminds me of my grandma who is non-stop talking about nothing.
@Grif: Agreed. Also, I hardly recognized you with your very different avatar.
@Xmutant: Agreed

I hope they wait a while before they do the reboot. It'll feel like Sony's really trying hard to squeeze every last drop of life out of Spidy so they can make a buck. Hell, if there is a reboot, GIVE IT BACK TO MARVEL!!!--they'll do it right

Stan is indeed the man. The father of the comic industry. Spidey is my all time favourite and has been since i was about 4 years old. I don't care if they do a thousand re-boots all i know is that i'll be there deeply immersed each and every time. Just as i was when i got my first Spidey comic.
As the years role on, CGI gets better and better. Therefore creating new and more diverse special effects. They should be able to make them better provided they get Marvel onboard for the next ones. Look at IronMan. Marvel had their say in that and look how awesome it turned out. Spidey suit up.......

Very interesting idea. Reminds me of To Kill A Mockingbird. All the chapters are their own short story, yet tie in together to form a coherent novel. Trilogies and series can be great, but i think are beginning to get over done in Hollywood. Sometimes a story would just be best if all conflicts were resolved after 2 and a half hours.

That's right. Stan is always "for" absolutely everything that Marvel does, and never EVER bucks the trend. The quintessential "yes man".

@Lee: Agreed. Stan right now reminds me of Michael Jordan when he was with the Wizards. Both heroes, both the best at what they do and will go down in history as legends, but for right now WTF is he doing? If you know what I mean
