We now know that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will feature more than just four playable characters.
There are a number of factors that point to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League becoming a major hit in the gaming industry. As a first reason, it's a brand-new superhero game, and games that encourage players to work together to complete missions usually get a lot of attention. The fact that it's being developed by Rocksteady Studios, the studio behind the Batman Arkham games, is a major selling point as well. Players will finally get to meet the Justice League from that universe in this sequel, but they won't have any major roles to play. Instead, players will be tasked with eliminating versions of Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Batman that have fallen under Brainiac's influence.
Last month's PlayStation State of Play featured extensive gameplay demonstrations featuring Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang, among others. However, the fan base won't be restricted to those two DC characters. Rocksteady Studios has finally addressed the rumor that players will be able to switch between different characters. Both the making-of video and the FAQ for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League confirm the existence of post-launch content that expands the game with new missions and playable characters. Rocksteady is no stranger to the genre; they've previously released DLC for the Arkham series that let players assume the roles of Batgirl, the Joker, the Red Hood, and other characters related to Batman.

The Flash also makes another appearance as his aggravating self.
The question of which Suicide Squad members (if any) will be playable in Kill the Justice League remains unanswered. If Rocksteady makes it through the game, they would be a good fit because they have experience making Batman games. Since Superman is in the game as an antagonist, maybe he will be playable in post-launch DLC... Fans have been clamoring for a Superman game for a long time. Many of the villains from DC Comics would make interesting additions to this new game.
There will be an Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC version of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League available on May 26. Which other villains do you think the Suicide Squad should recruit in order to take down the Justice League?
The game's comic prequel serves as a tie-in, and be sure to see how the game reveals this universes version of Lex Luthor.
