Could We See A Version Of 'Power Girl' On THE FLASH?

It's probably a long-shot, but Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg hints that there's a possibility of an alternate version of Kara Danvers showing up on The Flash as a response to the Scarlet Speedster crashing Supergirl's CBS show. Could that be Power Girl, perhaps?...

The Supergirl/The Flash crossover episode was a massive success, so it makes sense that the showrunners would be toying with the idea of Kara making the trip to Barry Allen's neck of the woods at some point - but how would that be accomplished?

Well, as we know, everyone has an alternate Earth version of themselves floating around, so somewhere in The Flash's continuity there's another Supergirl. Maybe even a more powerful Supergirl. Maybe even a Power... Girl?

"Any Kara that exists on Earth 1 would also have to have been an alien," says EP Andrew Kreisberg in response to a fan query. "It can’t just be Kara Danvers from Poughkeepsie". Okay... so could that be Power Girl? The character was originally introduced as an Earth-2 version of Supergirl, after all. "Different costume, but sure," Kreisberg adds.

We assume he means that if the character was ever introduced, she wouldn't be clad in her notoriously revealing outfit from the comics. Obviously this is far from any kind of confirmation that plans are in place for a Power Girl appearance, but it sounds like they may at least be entertaining the possibility.

Do you think it'd be a good idea to have Melissa Benoist show up as Power Girl on The Flash
