The exciting news that Supergirl will be coming to the DC Films Universe hit on Friday, with up-and-coming actress Sasha Calle set to step into the role of Kara Zor-El for Andy Muschietti's The Flash.

Muschietti shared an Instagram video of him telling Calle she'd landed the role shortly after the news broke, and revealed that he'd auditioned hundreds of actresses from all across The US, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia before finding "an actress who was destined to play this role."

The Internet has already been flooded with fan-art depicting Calle as the Girl of Steel, and following Boss Logic's take, fellow digital artist Tiago Ribeiro/@datrinti has now shared his impressive interpretation of how the Young and The Restless actress might look suited-up as the DC Comics heroine.

Of course, Kara is blond in the comics, and even though she's going to be played by a Latina actress in The Flash, many feel the character should still retain her signature golden locks. Check out blond and brunette versions of Datrini's art work below, and let us know which you prefer.

Calle joins Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, and Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as their respective takes on Batman.

The Flash is scheduled to begin shooting soon, and is currently set to race into theaters on November 4, 2022.
