The exciting news that Supergirl will be coming to the DC Films Universe hit on Friday, with up-and-coming actress Sasha Calle set to step into the role of Kara Zor-El for Andy Muschietti's The Flash.

Muschietti shared an Instagram video of him telling Calle she'd landed the role shortly after the news broke, and revealed that he'd auditioned hundreds of actresses from all across The US, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia before finding "an actress who was destined to play this role."

The Internet has already been flooded with fan-art depicting Calle as the Girl of Steel, and following Boss Logic's take, fellow digital artist Tiago Ribeiro/@datrinti has now shared his impressive interpretation of how the Young and The Restless actress might look suited-up as the DC Comics heroine.

Of course, Kara is blond in the comics, and even though she's going to be played by a Latina actress in The Flash, many feel the character should still retain her signature golden locks. Check out blond and brunette versions of Datrini's art work below, and let us know which you prefer.

Calle joins Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, and Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as their respective takes on Batman.

The Flash is scheduled to begin shooting soon, and is currently set to race into theaters on November 4, 2022.

This guy makes the best manips. Why people always run to bosslogic first is beyond me.
WruceBayne - 2/21/2021, 8:05 AM
The blond hair definitely works better
Origame - 2/21/2021, 8:41 AM
@WruceBayne - will they keep it is the question. DC seems to have an issue with blond hair.
JohnCastillo - 2/21/2021, 4:27 PM
@WruceBayne - In the pic the dark hair is better, suits her more ofcourse since she’s Latina. I wouldn’t mind if they just went dark with Supergirl, Kal-El has brown hair too so why not.
tripttwe - 2/22/2021, 12:15 AM
@WruceBayne - not really. I love the idea of Brunette. It makes a ton more sense that she'd be related to Kal-el with similar hair color. Penny, penny.

Be different tired of blonde hair go dark.
RageDriver2401 - 2/21/2021, 8:16 AM
@DoubleD - yess!
BigDriggs - 2/21/2021, 11:03 AM
@DoubleD - agreed 💯!!

@DoubleD -

Different in the DCEU is definitely not dark, literally every single DCEU superhero has black hair, it's weird, they're like a big inbred family. Fiege at Marvel realised the same thing comic book artists did, if you group a bunch of characters together on a page they all can't look alike or it'd be odd, Captain America-blonde, Thor-blonde, Iron Man-black hair, Spider-Man-brown hair, Widow and Scarlet Witch-red heads, variations just like the real world. If I were Calle I'd say you better make me blonde because I want to be different and stand out.

I also hope she stays brunette.

It’ll be a nice change.

MUCH better than BossLogic. The pants are a departure from the comics, but I dig it. And I'm also totally fine with the brunette look staying

@Waddles - Saying this as a superficial heterosexual male...YES.
Reeds2Much - 2/21/2021, 11:52 AM
@Waddles - Considering how restrictive form fitting clothing is the better question is why don't more superdudes want to go to war in bikini bottoms?
Dredd97 - 2/21/2021, 12:17 PM
@Waddles - probably not, but their artists sure wanted them to
RolandD - 2/22/2021, 9:24 AM
@Waddles - Uh, usually designed by men perhaps? LOL
RolandD - 2/22/2021, 9:26 AM
@Waddles - Trunks or no trunks. Let's just say that this outfit Grell designed for Cosmic Boy didn't last long at all.

Best fan artist IMO.

I really hate that post-MoS excessively glossy look of the suit. MoS suit was perfection.
Ahhh - 2/21/2021, 8:19 AM
Impressive. Very nice.

Let's see Paul Allen's supergirl fanart.

Way better than that Boss Logic one imo
globaltravels - 2/21/2021, 8:24 AM
@Ha1frican - anything is better than B/L
Ha1frican - 2/21/2021, 8:34 AM
@globaltravels - I like some of his stuff but Datrini is on another level
karazorel - 2/21/2021, 8:33 AM
Now this is cool. I hope in the film Sasha will be in a suit exactly like this and with her natural black hair or blonde. The suit is just like Henry’s and Melissa’s but to make it stand out a bit more they can add the gold belt like Melissa’s Supergirl suit has.
IcePyke - 2/21/2021, 8:57 AM
Much better than the bosslogic one!
