In 1984, after the success of the Christopher Reeve's Superman films, we were next introduced to his lost cousin Kara Zor-El (played by Helen Slater) in her own solo movie, "Supergirl".

Despite the unfavorable reviews, as well as being a huge Box Office flop for Warner Bros and Sony owned TriStar Pictures (grossing only $14 million with a $35 million budget) Supergirl still resounds true to fans.
