The Man of Steel and Iron Man 3 trailers are nominated for best "Summer 2013 Blockbuster Trailer," and the new Superman movie has a pair of posters up as well in the "Best Summer 2013 Blockbuster Poster" and "Best Teaser Poster" categories.

Iron Man 3 is also up for "Best Action," "Best Sound Editing," and "Best Summer Blockbuster 2013 TV Spot."

The awards are chosen by a panel of judges made up of film industry notables, which have included in the past Jon Favreau, Edgar Wright, Marc Webb, and Joss Whedon.

Man of Steel's trailers have been much better than Iron Man's trailers. The only good Iron Man trailer was the first.

On the other hand, Iron Man's posters have been much better than Man of Steel's posters.

ACtually, an award to trailers it's not something I find retarded. On the contrary, many times an awesome trailer is convincing enough that you go and see a film you wouldnt have otherwise seen.
