MTV caught up recently with "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm and brought up the fact that he's a fan favorite to play everyone's favorite Kryptonian in the soon-to-be-released "Man of Steel." Hamm said that playing such a nearly flawless character like Kal-El might be a challenge...

"It's a tricky road to go down with some of those heroes, because they're not flawed. Superman is Superman - he's invincible, so where's the drama?"

I'm not sure about everyone else but I think Hamm was BORN to play Superman. He may be a little older than Routh or Welling. If the plan for "The Man of Steel" is to ignore Superman's origin then using an older actor could work out fairly well. What say you?
