Clark Kent's return to adventuring in the new Smallviile episode "Disciple" ,which features Oliver Queen's mentor, might be delayed in favor of a "Hope For Haiti" telethon that is reported to run on multiple networks which might include the CW.

No Official confirmation from the network has yet been released. Details on how this will affect the airing of Smallville episodes especially that much anticipated "Absolute Justice" TV Movie.

Real world heroics beats make believe Superheroing anyday. My prayers are with the people of Haiti.

I REALLY can't wait to start seeing new episodes of Smallville. I especially can't wait for Absolute Justice. But, in this situation, the needs of the many, outweigh the wants of the few.

I say do it. This is a terrible situation, and one week isn't going to make a whole lot of difference. Not to mention the fact that this telethon is going to KILL IT in terms of ratings, don't put Smallville up against that. Haha

Yeah, I don't mind the delay, but you're going to have A-holes complaining about it.

I remember back in Feb. 08, we were having really bad storms in our area(Memphis)I believe a tornado had touched down in the next county. The newsstation had taken over programming from about 5pm to a little after 9.All through the interruption, the weatherman kept saying they would air American Idol in it's entirety.I kept wondering why he kept repeating this Who the hell cared?Turns out alot of people were calling and sending angry emails about them preempting American Idol. This was completely ridiculous. We were in the middle of tornado watch, people were dying and they were more concerned with watching that show.

Anyway, I pretty sure all the guys on this site are pretty cool.It won't bother us.Even if it does, we're not big enough jackasses to say it.Some of those lunatics on the fanboards are gonna be complete jerks about it, though.

im not complaining, but they picked a friday night to do the telethon cause its got the least number of popular shows. they wouldnt dare put it on a thursday night and bump greys anatomy, or put it on sunday and bump extreme home makeover. no, they pick friday, when nobody watches t.v. anyway, and bump shows they feel no one will care about. for christs sake they moved the state of the union adress so it woulntd bump the lost premiere. im all for my t.v., but if its that importanat put it somewhere other than friday night where more people will watch, or dont do it all.
