Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans all over the world are gearing up for the release of the new film coming out August 8, but the fact Michael Bay's involved with the movie is giving some die-hards the bubble guts.

I have been thinking about this movie a TON over the last few weeks, as I'm a HUGE fan of the original series of films, the cartoons, and of course, the comics.

When I first heard Michael Bay's name attached to the project, I too flipped out, curled up into the fetal position, and started sucking my thumb.

The feeling of dread and horror in my gut, similar to the one that says you have to drop a deuce, but there's no toilet paper, continued to rise as I saw the first glimpse of the Turtles design, realizing that my childhood heroes were about to be destroyed, and I was powerless to stop it.

Somehow, I managed to force myself to watch some of the trailers. Suddenly, my bowels began to calm down a bit, and I realized that maybe this wouldn't be as terrible (though I still thought it'd be bad) as I originally thought.

With each clip I see, I'm starting to get the feeling that his movie might not be half bad. It might not be half good either, but I don't think it's going to be as terrible as I previously imagined. Check out the video above for my complete thoughts and predictions. Don't forget to like it and subscribe if you want to see more. Plus, share a few thoughts on your own about how you think the movie's going to do at the box office.

If people are happy to watch bubble gum fest like transformers or guardians of galaxy then this is no different.

I don't think it will flop. Too many haters will go see it just to bash afterwards and also others will be interested. Thus both contributing to its box office. I could be wrong though.

Even though Bay's name is attached to the project, the sheer amount of people that are fans of the turtles will most likely see it. And if the Transformers franchise keeps making more and more money, I see no reason that this will not follow the same path.

@tonytony....not everything has to be dark and heavy. If that's what you like then fine, but not everyone wants to watch "dark" junk all the time. Expand your horizons a bit.

I doubt it'll flop, they still have quite a bit of fans and it's the Turtles!

I also agree with giving the movie a chance, it could turn out to be great and if it doesn't then oh well.

@TheReddestHood Then you should see this one. The interaction between Mikey and Raph as they're hiding in a billboard is fantastic.

To much CGI. Bad CGI. A Caucasian Shredder with a rediculous costume and the Turtles look terrible. Last but not least this is a Micheal Bay production. Buff said. 👎
